JUNE/JULY 2011 UPDATES:
Solo Exhibition "America: a Comedy"
New acrylic paintings will be released from the series "America: a Comedy". This series of new American History paintings are created from looking at the television home video competition, America's Funniest Home Videos. Home movie stills are frozen in time and rendered in a thick expressionist style. The imagery transforms from humor into accounts of the extraordinary occurrences in domestic life.
